100% Windows Server
2003 friendly |
|
Up to 100 pictures per
album including descriptions for each picture. |
Pictures
are not stored in a database. They are stored in
a folder on the web server.
The system takes care of everything and associates
pictures with corresponding album info in the database. |
| It's
skinable. That's right, ASP Photo Gallery Pro supports
skins and there are 50 skins available for download
on the skins page. That
means its easier to make the application look the
way you want it to. |

Built
in user registration system.
If you do not want users to be able to create and
manage Albums that is not a problem. All you do
is remove some links and delete a few files in the
users folder. Anyone that can edit simple html can
make those changes in minutes. As a matter of fact
the entire application is relatively simple source
code. HTML mixed with bits of ASP code written in
VBScript. Anything and everything can be edited
and changed. |
| Administrative
interface where you manage users as well as a ton
of other things (see live demo) |
|
Email a Postcard to
anyone (with music). You can even add more midi
songs to the system by just copying them to the
midi folder. |
|
Any user can optionally
password protect any of their albums. |
|
Users can be limited
to a certain amount of disk space for their photos. |
|
Albums can be optionally
right click protected. (to help stop image downloading
thieves) |
|
Albums can be hidden
from the category search pages. |
|
Supports more emailing
components (see below for a list) |
|
Now supports outgoing
SMTP authentication when using the Persits emailing
component. |
|
Supports more Image
resizing components. (see below for a list) |
| Supports
using .NET's built in image processing for dynamic
thumbnails if your server supports .NET and you
do not have an ASP 3.0 image resizing component
to use. |
| Mass
picture import. (
The administrator can mass import pictures into
the system by copying them to a directory on the
web server. The system then allows you to import
and process the pictures into new albums. On a decent
web server you can literally import 100 pictures
into an album in 20 seconds or less. This includes
creating thumbnails and resizing the images. It
is a very slick process.) |
| If
using the Softartisans SAFILEUP component for file
uploads there is an add-on available which allows
a user to upload multiple pictures at once via a
web page. See ADD-ON PAGE |
| Embed
Content into existing pages of your site.
You can optionally insert a dynamically generated
gallery right in the middle of existing or new ".asp"
pages of your site with minimal effort. We give
you easy to follow examples. It's just some code
you paste into your existing page where you want
the album to appear. In addition to that the system
generates an image URL for each image in the gallery
you can use any image from the gallery on your existing
pages whether ".asp" , ".html", or whatever. In
fact, many people actually use ASP Photo Gallery
behind the scenes as it is an easy way to manage
pictures for their web site. |
| And
much much more.... see bottom of this page for even
more feature details. Also check out the
live demo. |
